John Deere New/Used Lawn Tractor Donation Needed
June 22, 2004 -- The Lake Worth Girls Softball League Inc of Florida is seeking a generous donation of a New/Used John Deere Lawn Tractor/mower. We are a small non profit organization which is still growing. We are made up of 100 young ladies who are learning the game of softball as well as other life lessons. We provide two recreational league seasons { fall and spring, which are twelve weeks long , and one Travel league {spring/summer} also 12 weeks long each year.
The league is made up of girls ages 4 years old to 18 years old. Our goal is to teach good skills that will be able to be used not only thru high school and college softball but all thru their lives. Our league is strictly volunteer and non profit and relies heavily on donations to purchase equipment and upgrade existing depreciating equipment to better improve the experience and improve safety for these young ladies.
The League would use this Lawn Tractor to help keep the fields in safety and ready condition as well as transporting equipment and supplies around the complex.
